Today's 10-minute walk is helping both of us remain fitness consistent.

Hi, I'm Dave. Let's go for a walk.

I saw the post in the start today, Facebook group recently, and this was from Susie,

and she posted a picture of a little guy and says,

one of the reasons why this is so important,

and I think what she means by this is pursuing fitness,

walking consistently, making a commitment to walk every day.

She says, one of the reasons why this is so important,

I want to dance at this guy's wedding in 25 years or so

And so I'm assuming that for Susie this is probably a grandson and in 25 years she wants to be able to dance at his wedding

And so that got me thinking thinking through And in 25 years, she wants to be able to dance at his wedding.

And so that got me thinking, thinking through the question of what 25 years in the future, what could happen 25 years in the future that will impact my commitment to fitness today

that will actually motivate me to walk more,

to get out the door, to keep going even on those days

when I may not feel like it.

And so I came up with five things.

And so, number one, my grandchildren will be between 25 and 35 years old.

And just like Susie, I want to dance at their weddings.

Which is really kind of an odd thing for me to say,

because I don't like dancing at weddings.

I'm not someone who goes to a wedding

as the first one out on the dance floor.
