Beyond and hello and welcome once again to IGN's weekly PlayStation show.

I'm your host, Max Scoville, and coming up, we are running down 25 games we're looking forward to playing before 2025 is over.

Let's get into it.

Beyond, I'm here with the usual suspects, Jada Griffin and Brian Altano. Hey, everybody. How's it going? Beyond. So this week, we are going to be talking about video games that have not come out yet this year. There are going to be 25 of them that we're going to talk about. There's more of the games than that coming out. A lot of games come out. I would say maybe even too many. But then sometimes we think a game is going to come out and then surprise, it doesn't come out. It gets delayed. But yeah, I don't know. I feel like we're at that point where there's a bunch of games that we'd love to talk about that maybe we've been playing, but we can't talk about them quite yet, but we will be talking about them in the near future. but you know for the sake of the second conversation, let's take a look ahead at some of the stuff

that is coming down the pipe.

Or rather, coming down the half pipe,

our first game is skate,

which is hitting early access on September 16th.

okay so yeah the first one is uh it's this is a beautiful montage of skateboarding

video games from throughout time but we're getting a new one and I'm excited for it. I was, I think a lot of people understandably are a little bit, you know, concerned that this is a live service free-to-play EA game.

Mm-hmm.

Because I, you know, that historically has not always voted the best.

But at the same time, like, I don't know, our producer, Nick preview this, and everything he said made me, like, really kind of interested in checking it out.

It, I mean, coming to talking about EA's track record with free to play, it does vary greatly.

You look at something like Apex Legends, which has been alive forever now.

So there is a track record of things performing well.

If it does well, then again, Apex has a ton of micro transactions for buying skins and

different outfits and other cosmetics.
