So Gene Christensen is a small business and MWBE that stands for minority and woman-owned business enterprise.

She's a MWBE growth specialist, an executive coach, and a trainer. In 2007, she launched Gene

Christensen associates, KJA, and they teach minority and women-owned businesses how to increase

revenue through government contracting, MWB certification also, and other innovative business

strategies. Her signature program is the MWBE success. It's a toolbox series of workshops,

trainings, and one-on-one coaching, and has been procured by several non- nonprofit and government agencies. Her work in the

small business and MWBE community has been recognized by numerous organizations. And in 2016,

Jean was named as one of the top women to watch in real estate due to her development work with

female entrepreneurs in the construction industry.
