All right, what's up? What's up? We have made it to Friday. They're in the

0:15.0

Side Hustle School week, which means today is failure Friday. It's a collection of

0:19.8

short stories about mistakes, missteps, disasters, all the things that go wrong,

0:24.0

everything that is not a huge success. You know, we talk about success as many

0:28.2

other days here, but failure Friday is a little bit more of a vulnerability side

0:32.9

because not every idea works out. And I want you to know that it's okay for an

0:37.1

idea to not work out and you're going to be okay. Like you're still going to work

0:40.6

out, even if your idea doesn't work out. So often in these segments we get to

0:45.1

hear like, okay, what did the person learn? What are they going to do next? And

0:49.0

even if they're not sure what they're going to do next, you know, hopefully

0:51.6

they're approaching this sharing process from a perspective of gratitude,

0:56.5

from a perspective of like, hey, here's a mistake I made. Maybe this will be

1:00.0

helpful for somebody else to hear about. It's not always a mistake to be

1:03.4

clear. Sometimes it's something happens to them. You know, sometimes it's

1:06.8

something external that's kind of imposed. I think today is a little bit more of

1:10.4

a mistake, but in any case, I appreciate the bravery of everybody who's been

1:13.9

sharing stories. So just like our Thurberk Thursday segment, you get to hear

1:17.8

directly from a side hustler. They're going to tell you that short story of

1:21.3

something that goes very wrong. Today's features Madison. She is a

1:25.8

communications graduate who plan to open a PR agency. However, you know, not

1:31.9

shocking based on the intro thus far. Her first attempt didn't work out as

1:35.6

well as she'd hoped. Turns out running a PR agency is harder than it looks. Let's
