Over the last hundred years, there have been several different grief theories developed by experts to help people understand the bereavement experience. Some of them are strongly criticized and don’t speak to most widows’ experiences.

 

I’m detailing the main grief theories in recent history, the criticisms of them, and how having an understanding of them benefits you on your own grief journey.

Costa Rica. I'm very excited. I don't get to go for a few more weeks, but in late February,

I'm going to go and see her. My dad's going with me. I've mentioned it before, but she decided

she wanted to go to Costa Rica and she found a little hostel

where she could work and study and do her classes all online this semester. And so that's what

she's doing. And I miss her and I want to see her. And so I just book tickets. And I'm excited. I'm

going to be there for 12 days. Yeah, 12 days. Couldn't come soon enough. Not to mention the weather will be

significantly better in Costa Rica than it is in Kansas. But I'm really looking forward to just

seeing her and hanging out. And I love that I have a job where I can just do my coaching calls

from there. And I can, I'll have internet access and I can work from there.
