Welcome to another episode of the podcast. On Luke's English

podcast I like to do all kinds of things as a way of helping you to improve your

English. Sometimes I will teach you things, grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation.

Sometimes I'll just give you some interesting stuff to listen to and that's what I'd like to achieve in this episode, okay? So this episode features a few humorous accounts

of people's experiences on aeroplanes. Now why have I chosen this topic? Well why not? Okay? There's no Christmas or New Year

Connection or anything like that. It's just an episode that I've been thinking about for

ages and finally I've got around to doing it.

Actually the main reason is just so that I can play you some stand-up comedy

which hopefully you will both learn from and enjoy.

Okay? I always want to play you stand-up comedy because I think it's brilliant and I want to share it with you.

The subject of flying, which is what this episode is dealing with, is something that's pretty universal. I mean we all fly

on planes, well most of us do, we all have experiences of flying on planes, so I

thought there was a pretty good chance that you'd be able to relate to people's comedy routines on that subject.

Comedians all seem to have material based on flying.
