People say to me frequently, pastor, I do whatever God wanted me to do if I just knew what he wanted me to do.

He wants you to become a persistent petitioner for the purposes of God and the earth.

If you're not offering those petitions with persistence,

why should he entrust you with any other assignment?

If you don't have a passion, a desire, an overwhelming concern for God's purposes in the earth,

why should he give you an assignment so you can be indifferent to it?

I'll get to it right after I'm done with my favorite hobby. I don't

understand God to interact with us in that way.
