are back with Elle to provide a liturgical space for repentance and healing.

Yeah, we are going to do something different today on the Baymaa podcast that we have never

done or attempted before, but I am very excited about just seeing how this works. We're going

to try to create a liturgical space. I'll be back in session one. We talked about creating

a space for God and that God would fill it. And as I spent time reflecting on this four

part series on spiritual abuse, I wanted to end our time in this fourth episode by doing

just that to create a prayerful space for lament, a space for reflection, a space for confession,

a space for listening, listening to God, listening to ourselves, listening to the stories of

others, a space for intercession, a space that would invite us as a church into the process

of repentance. And so the notes we're going to use today, Ellen Brent are going to help

me lead us through this time. We've adapted them. We're going to put the link of the source

that we have adapted them from in the show notes there. But there's going to be some

liturgy. There's going to be some prayers and there'll be some more liturgy. And we're

going to read that liturgy with pauses, intentional pauses, contemplative space to reflect.

And at one point in our reading, there's going to be a line that talks about how help is

a phone call away. And we didn't want to just say that help was a phone call or a click

away without also providing some of what that help could be and could look like. And so

people have sent lots of resources in. We're going to link a couple resources in the show
