The thing that for me separates a religion to a cult and I've heard other Jehovah's Witnesses say, the sex Jehovah's Witnesses,

is what happens when you leave. If you leave those sort of religions, no one really cares.

And then you have a cult Jehovah's Witnesses where if you doubt

you are blacklisted you are ostracized you are labeled bad association your family won't eat with you.

People will limit how much time they spend with you.

They will never talk to you again.

Hello everyone, so the good news I said that like there's going to be some bad

news there isn't there's no bad news for anyone ever right the good news is

I've put some effort in to upgrade this podcast, take it to the next level.

Whenever I've been interviewing British interviewees, I've been trying to do them in a studio in

London so I spent Sunday interviewing three different people over a period of four or five hours. It was intense.

Things were intense and also wonderful and interesting and I interviewed today's

guest, that's Harrison Kother, a former Jehovah's Witness, but also a former

Scientologist Alex Barnes Ross and someone else who I will get into when it comes out.

Because you don't need to know everything.

You don't have to know every little bit.

Anyway, Harrison Cother is a former Jehovah's Witness who disassociated, as they say, in September 2020 to create a YouTube channel.

He's on Twitter. He advocates for critical thinking and freedom of speech.

He's a really, really interesting guy.

An impressive person, I think, a very impressive talker, speaker, I should say.

And what a pleasure to meet him, what a pleasure to do this podcast in person
