Today, I am and we are announcing kind of a special moment in our history in conjunction with

the launching of the Open Stories Foundation as an official 501c3 nonprofit. We are announcing

the revitalization or the restoration of Mormon Matters Podcast. Many of you will remember a

few years back that I did about 20 episodes on MormonMatters.org where we would just sort of have

a panel discussion where we would bring on two or three or four sharp, thoughtful, witty people

and we would have just candid conversations about current events within Mormonism and that

podcast has been on hold or on hiatus for a few years now and recently I've been feeling the

pangs to bring it back and so I've enlisted the help of a few close friends, Dan Witherspoon,

who many of you will know has been helping me on Mormon Stories do some of the interviews.

He has agreed to sort of become the host of Mormon Matters Podcast and for our inaugural relaunching

of Mormon Matters we brought on Joanna Brooks who has appeared on Mormon Stories telling

her own story but she also blogs and writes for many different online locales including

as of late feminist Mormon housewives. Welcome Joanna.
