0:09.6	as a leader, and as an influencer. Let's get into another powerful topic. So in today's
0:15.7	faith episode, we're going to be talking about a very popular verse that we all hear all the time and a concept
0:23.5	that we hear all the time, which is do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the
0:29.5	renewing of your mind. Depending on what version of the Bible you're reading, it might say,
0:33.7	do not conform to the pattern of this world. Well, as leaders and as entrepreneurs,
0:39.1	and if you're an influencer in the marketplace, it is a constant challenge to not be
0:46.2	conformed to the world and the way that the world does things, right? A lot of the skill sets
0:52.3	we've learned, we've learned how to do things the world's way.
0:56.2	And God's ways are not the world's ways. And oftentimes, we think we are wise in our own
1:01.6	understanding and we're leaning on our own understanding and our own skill set. And we go into the
1:06.2	business world and we go into entrepreneurship and we think we kind of have it dialed in.
1:10.3	And the truth is, God does things completely different.
1:15.1	So as followers of him and really as his hands and feet, when we go into the marketplace,
1:21.8	when we go into our calling in the business world, we constantly want to be surrendered,
1:26.5	surrendering our own understanding, surrendering our
1:29.5	business, our body, our mind, surrendering it all to God and saying, what do you want to do with this?
