And we're just going to, you know, try to hypnotize you with our words that may actually be run-on sentences that we're not actually going to give a punctuation mark,

because we really want you to sit in it and take the podcast in a different way, because we're

talking about Bellatar.

That's right.

And this is the episode that has been long discussed, but that I actually thought we were

maybe never going to do.

Really?

And that is because Bellatar's magnum opus, his most famous movie, Satan Tango from 1994,

runs seven hours.

I mean, that's less than most Netflix television series that people binge in a day.

Yes, that's true.

And that's very much the spirit with which I approached Satan Tango this week, I'm sorry

to say.

We are, of course, still in lockdown as we record this. I always dreamed of seeing Satan Tango in a movie theater,

and that's not how I viewed it this week, which I think is important to say out front, because

it's a somewhat different experience to watch it split over three nights rather than in one day in a theater with two

intermissions. And also, some people like Bellatar, um, officinado, Johnson Rosenbaum would say that

these movies need to be experienced with the crowd as well. So you can all be hypnotized as one

instead of just the individual. And I got to admit, if I had seen this movie in a theater,

I think I would have fallen asleep, especially the TIF light box, which is warm, the seats are
