Something that's been on my mind lately is how the Senior Bowl impacts draft evaluation.

For those of you who don't know, the Senior Bowl is basically an all-star game that's

played each January for NFL draft prospects to highlight their skills.

It's a place for analysts to get to know some of the players in the draft, but it's also

a place to do evaluation.

And I've got nothing against the Senior Bowl at all, it's a really cool thing and it's

really helpful.

My mind is just wondering if the Senior Bowl itself is holding too much weight with player

evaluation.

I've wondered this for a while and then I saw a tweet from my pal Danny Kelly from the

Ringer Untoos day and you can follow Danny at Danny B. Kelly, but the tweet said, Daniel

Jeremiah on MTS, and this is a quote from Daniel Jeremiah.

The fact that Andy Isabella was taken two spots ahead of DK Metcalf, it's tough.

Isabella was my 188th player in the draft.

He went to the Senior Bowl, he couldn't catch anything, couldn't get out of a break,

Penny Hart was better than him.
