So the draft is over.

We have landing spots.

I know that a lot of you listening to this probably wants some sort of rookie rankings

list or you want to take on every relevant fantasy asset that was drafted this past weekend.

And look, I promise you that over the next few months, I'll cover almost every worthwhile

fantasy asset in one way or another.

But today's a little bit different.

I've done this for the last two years or the only two years this podcast has existed

during the NFL draft, but instead of going pick by pick and giving a take, I like to sit

back after the draft and try to read team intent.

I try to read between the lines.

Because while the player each team drafted is important, it's just as important to look

at the general position teams decided to target and not target.

It's important to see the type of draft capital these teams spent to get some of these players.

We can learn a lot about how teams feel about their existing players just by analyzing

not only who they drafted, but how they drafted.

So today, we're going to go in that direction with the analysis.
