Welcome to a special edition of the Cheryl Ackison Podcast.

Today, 14 whistleblower allegations about the Trump assassination attempt,

the Secret Service, and poor security.

So much news is breaking in politics these days and at the time of this recording

there will be additional developments that will come to pass and may outdate some of what we're talking about, but not some of what we're talking about.

I just caution you to understand that this is being recorded on Sunday evening July 21st,

ahead of a planned hearing with the head of a secret service, Kim Cheetle,

who is expected to testify before Congress Monday, July 22nd.

She is supposed to be there regardless of whether she wants to be there or not

because she has been issued a subpoena.

So as of this moment, that's the case.

We'll have to see tomorrow if she shows up and what she says.

But I thought it was worth going over what we've learned so far in the week since somebody shot President Trump in the ear

and unfortunately killed a bystander and injured two others.

I'd like to start by saying that the budget for the Secret Service

is north of $3 billion a year. So to me for the Secret Service services they apparently have done to cry poor and say they need more resources just doesn't ring true.

It's almost like the CDC with its billions and billions of dollars claiming they don't have

enough money.

Clearly these federal agencies, at least in my view, I think there's evidence that they

become bloated and bureaucratic and with all of the money and the personnel they have they don't necessarily get better at the job.

In fact, I think it could be argued that a much smaller force could be operated far more efficiently
