The cocktail of the week this week is called the Spicy Dead Lady. Oh no, this is not

a Kiki West drink, is it? Continuing to pick my cocktail based on names. Pinterest is like

serving me well with cocktail of the week this year. The Spicy Dead Lady is Mezcal Aparall,

Falernum syrup, which is a kind of teaky, spiced syrup. Think like cinnamon and almonds,

like Caribbean spiced. So Mezcal Aparall, Falernum syrup, lime juice and one dash of

bitters. Delish. Mezcal Aparall. You can't, I don't. The Spicy Dead Lady. I don't want

to cross over anything, but I don't think you can have a Kiki West drink called the Spicy

Dead Lady because everyone will think of Camp on Costel or whatever his name was. Oh,

yeah. I mean, she wasn't spicy though, she was just dead. Well, he, for him, she was

plenty spicy. Yeah, if you don't know what we're talking about, you can go listen to the

Costel episode. It's disturbing. It'll, it's worth it. Listen. Some, I was listening,

listening to some podcast that an episode about Key West recently and somebody mentioned

that they, that was the most disturbing story they'd ever heard on any ghost tour. And

they're like, I will never be able to unthink that. It's very disturbing. Yeah, it's, it's

a guy who stole, who had the hots for some girl and she died and then he stole her corpse

and did things with it for a very long time with it as his wife for like 20 years or something

ridiculous. He got caught dancing with it in the window. And then, and then it was publicly

displayed. And then the thought was that they reburied it. And when he eventually died

up in mainland Florida and he fled Key West when he died, he had a quote replica of her
