Tim, I'm doing so well. How are you today?

I am doing so well today and we have a really interesting guest on. His name is Lou

Velosi and he hosts a podcast called End of Watch and he is writing a book.

That is true. For a second I thought you were going to say we had on Sal Nunziato but that is

his alias. Sal's dead. Exactly. Sal is dead as we find out. Lou is a retired ATF agent who

specialized in undercover operations and he was part of the controversial storefront operation where

undercover agents would pose as store owners and they would buy illegal weapons off of the street

and they would turn them into the government and subsequently those weapons would be

destroyed and he took a number of these hundreds of weapons off the streets so he talks about

that and really the amazing moments that he would have as an undercover, the dangerous moments

that he would have as an undercover agent. Yeah, I know for me I'm fascinated by the new character

that you have to create in order to keep yourself alive and you really got to stick with it.

It's like acting on a stage with guns pointed at you. I mean it's unbelievable to imagine going

through this. A lot of my questions have to do with his nerves and things like that because I'm

just sort of endlessly fascinated by that aspect of it. But yeah, really impressive guy,

really great podcast he does with his buddy Bootsie who has also written a book. So check out

End of Watch and we'll definitely have him back on when his book is out. Oh, we absolutely will

have him back on once that book comes out. One thing that stood out to me that I want to make

sure listeners are aware of is the topic of mental health and I didn't think that the conversation

would go in that direction especially so early on. He speaks about the importance of mental health
