How do you know the truth? By having an intense longing if you search for it, if you store it up, if you retain it, if you meditate upon it, don't treat it casually. Do I have to read my Bible?

No, you don't have to.

You don't have to. it's a choice you make.

Now if you intend to grow up in the Lord and sustain your faith, you get to read your Bible.

and knowing the word of God.

We've been working through a little series around America and some themes and ideas

that are essential for our nation to continue to be a place of liberty and freedom.

And in this session, I want to talk about America in God we trust.

Our national motto is in God we trust. It first appeared on a coin in 1864. It was on the 2-cent piece. But the law was

passed in July of 1955, 1955 by a joint resolution of the 84th Congress and it was

approved by then President Dwight Eisenhower requiring that in God we trust appear on all American currency.
