But now as the garden is going full swing, I'm going to pivot a bit in what content I offer you.

I plan on doing some Q&A episodes and also cover topics that come up during the course of the garden season, such as diseases and pests.

I know I enjoy, perhaps even more than how-to teaching, learning what other gardeners have done

and learning from their successes and failures.

This week, I'm going to talk to you about my garlic and onion harvests and what I've learned.

Some of you will still be able to use some of what I'm talking about because your season is just a bit behind me.

But for others, this information will prove more helpful for you as you plan for the next season.

I just finished harvesting my garlic and onions, and they are among my favorite vegetables to harvest.

One of the main reasons is I get to harvest them in early summer before it gets oppressively hot in my climate.

With these two crops this year, garlic ended up being a

huge success, but the onions didn't turn out as well as I had hoped. So let's talk about each one.

This is either my third or fourth year harvesting garlic. I can't remember exactly when I first started. And it was

hands down my best garlic harvest ever. I tried something new this year and it was a risk, but it
