Hey, children, welcome to Mentally Chill. It's your mother, Kristen, and you know what I was just

thinking? This show is like the verbal equivalent of doing porn. It just brings embarrassment and

shame to your family. And that's what I'm doing. But the thing is, it's not, it's not

stuff that my family should be embarrassed about because none of the stuff that I talk about is

like something that could lead to teen pregnancy for me or not going to college or having four babies with four different dudes.

Like none of that is this.

And that's stuff that your family might feel shame about.

This is shame in a different way where they don't feel shame, but it's just most people's

kids don't talk this openly about their mental health or problems that they've had or when they're sad and all that kind of stuff.

And I'm so glad that my mom still doesn't really know how to work her iPhone so that she can't find this podcast.

The other day I was just explaining to her what a podcast is again.

And I've had a podcast for probably

about four years now, or podcasts or what-ofs, and she is just starting to kind of grasp the concept.

I tried to almost explain it to her. I'm like, it's like a chat room from AOL, but with one person talking or two

people talking and everyone continues to listen to it. And the reason I use that as an example was

because I remember in the 90s when AOL first came out, my mom loves gardening. And she went to some

like gardening or grower website or something and it turned

out to be marijuana and it was so funny because she's like hey I love planting basil anyone else have

any suggestions on how to get great basil and then people are like yeah you smoke it and she just was

scarred for life. So anyway,

that's kind of how she could understand what this is. It's like a place where when you're

interested in one thing, you can go and listen. But I'm not explaining that to you guys,
