the winners from the fourth annual KCRW 24-hour radio race.

On August 6. 24-hour radio race.

On August 6 at 10 a.m.

hundreds of racers started out on a mission, the same mission,

to create an entertaining broadcast quality radio story in less than 24 hours.

Over 200 teams from eight countries registered for the race including Australia, Mexico, Canada, Russia, New Zealand, 107 teams

ultimately finished and submitted pieces by the deadline. At the start everybody

received the theme to this year's race by a video message from this

lunkhead. Hello there I'm Bob Carlson producer of KCRW's unfictional and I'm here

today to announce the theme of this year's radio race.

And as it turns out, more than just one of the teams started the race with tech mishaps and confusion.
