Summary

What if fear wasn’t something to avoid—but something to understand? In this episode of Spiritually Hungry Podcast, we explore the deeper purpose behind our emotions and how they are designed to guide us, not derail us. When we begin to see every moment as purposeful, we unlock the ability to move beyond fear and into trust. Even when we don’t fully understand what’s unfolding, we can choose to focus on the good—and trust that there is always more happening beneath the surface than we can see. Because the truth is: We are only ever seeing a small piece of a much bigger, more beautiful picture.

The purpose of fear, the reason why fear exists has a purpose.

0:12.2

It's maybe the most important thing.

0:14.8

It's because we get lost in this world, in this world of illusions, and our heart becomes

0:19.7

crooked, our focus becomes wrong, and fear is

0:23.5

there for only really one purpose.

0:28.4

Hello and welcome to spiritually hungry from sunny California.

0:34.2

Are back in Los Angeles for this episode?

0:36.5

We're back.

0:40.6

I brought my friend. No, well, only people who are. I'm going to explain what my friend is. It's Mr. Kermit sitting here on the table. So you would

0:44.7

think maybe this episode is about joy and laughter and things that make me feel warm and fuzzy, but no.

0:50.6

So, yeah. So, so I know it's Snoopy and Kermit. Is anybody else?

2:01.0

I like Woodstock. Woodstock, more than Snoopy? No, they're friends. I know they're friends. So they go together. And I like Tweety Bird. Really? And Sylvester. So it's, okay, Sylvester. So and Kermit. Correct. Okay, in that order? No. I feel like I need to go back and watch those things because I've ever watched them. I remember how I felt when I was a kid. And then I wonder my adult self would be like, oh, you're just nasty or your behavior's like, no, Sylvester, I don't think was a nice cat. Tweety was cute. That's what I'm saying. You know when you watch something when you're younger and you go back and revisit it and you're like, oh my God, like that's not at all what I thought. Not real. I don't think of I've had that experience. You're so weird. Why, have you had this experience? I was just talking to Miram about it and we had about sex in the city and like our friend was saying one of her friends is like Carrie Bradshaw's character and I was like oh I don't think so at all and then we started talking about what Carrie Bradshaw's character was like and Miram's like you know she was judgey and she was a little bit selfish and she wasn't a good friend and I was like really I don't that's not how I watched this that wasn't my experience of it. Now, I wonder if I would go back now. I'd probably see some of those things to, for instance. Interesting. But that's not what we're talking about today either. Today, we are going to, I don't think it's good to have things that, like, Snoopy really makes you happy. We were at the airport and you sort of Snoopy. It makes me be like weirdo now. Not weird. I think it's really cute and endearing.

2:19.2

It is.

2:19.9

Yeah, Snoopy's my favorite.

2:20.9

Because he just like,

2:21.5

he like, he liked to sleep on the house. I also had a little Snoopy doll when I was a kid. And I think it like, it was like a good stuff as an animal that comforted me. So I think there's some kind of connection there. Are we therapiesing me now? Or what are we doing? No, no. Okay, we are. It says nothing to do with today's episode at all, not even close. But hopefully our listeners enjoyed it. Okay, what we are going to talk about, though, is something that I liked. It's kind of the opposite of everything we spoke going on to there. Completely. We're talking about warm and fuzzy feelings and thoughts and opinions.

2:55.3

This is an emotion that definitely brings about a lot of feelings.

2:58.5

And it's something that I really like talking about and packing.

3:00.8

We're hopefully going to take a different angle today.

3:04.1

And that is, well, let's tease it.

3:05.3

It's something we all experience.

3:07.9

It doesn't matter who you are or where you are in life.
