So first up, we've got Daniel Jose Older.

He's the New York Times best-selling author of salsa nocturna,

as well as the Bone Street Rumba series from Rock Books.

His young adult novel Shadow Shaper was the New York Times notable book of 2015,

won the International Latino Book Award, and was named one of Esquire's 80 books every person should read.

He also edited the original short story section of people of color destroy fantasy.
