Man, I love doing this podcast.

Thank you for listening to it.

Because if nobody was listening to it, I guess I wouldn't be able to do it.

And you know, I'd be able to do it.

I'd be able to walk around and talk to people.

But I wouldn't be able to talk to people who are busy.

And this week's guest is Ron Finley.

He's busy.

That dude's really busy.

And you know, I met each other in Vancouver,

right, 2012 probably, when he was given a TED talk, like a TED,

it's not TEDx, but it was like a TED talent search thing that they were doing,

which is how I got connected to TED.

They were going around the world, sort of doing small-scale talk,

talks with people in different cities.

And a friend of mine read that they were going to be in Vancouver in a couple of days.

And he called me up and he said, hey, man, TED's doing a thing here.

You should go do a TED talk.

And I was like, yeah, I don't think that's how it works.

I think you have to be invited.
