And I'm Katie. And you're listening to Rope Drop and Park Hop. It's cold. Happy holidays. It's finally cold here. Finally. Katie's all bundled up. We've had the mildest winter so far. Knock on wood. Yesterday we set a record. Did you read this? Uh-uh. We set a record for the highest temperature at like 7 a.m. or something. It was 58 degrees at 7 a.m. yesterday morning. It was weirdly warm yesterday morning. I remember because we sat in the hot tub the night before and it was pretty chilly. Yeah. And then when I went to let the dogs out yesterday morning, I was like, why is it warm? It was really unnerving, actually. Well, the last time that, or the record we broke was from 1917. Wow. Also, we have so many people who listen to us in Washington and

Oregon. Oh, yes. And you guys were thinking about you. Idaho, well, where we are at least has not been hit as

hard. Right. Northern Idaho. Where my son is living right now, he said there were trees all over

the place. They had 80 mile an hour winds there. I know in some places there were up to 115

gusts. The Pacific Northwest flooding is crazy as well. And so we hope all of you are safe and okay. And, yeah, we're thinking about you guys because it is messy, messy, messy. And I'm so sorry. And it sucks right before Christmas. Yes. But yeah, our weather is chilly today. I think is it supposed to stay cold? I don't know that it is. I don't think so. I hope not. We were supposed to get something

like an atmospheric river is what I read this week. Nothing has happened so far. It rained a little

bit yesterday this morning when I got on my car. It was like tiny, tiny little frozen things in the air,

but no snow. A rain, snow mix forecasted until 2 p.m. today, but then the rest of the day is fine, and then it's going to be 54 tomorrow. Oh, my gosh. And then lots of high 40s, low 50s in the next week. Lots of rain. That's where I guess our atmospheric river is coming. There you go. I don't know. Anyway, how's the weather where you are? You get to hear Boise's weather all the time. Right. Hopefully some of you well know.

I hate... there you go i don't know anyway how's the weather where you are you get to hear boise's weather all the time right hopefully some of you well no i hate i don't care if i get a white christmas or not if you want a white christmas i hope you get one unless you live in boise i want a white christmas i know and i love in boise but your elevation's slightly higher than mine so maybe you can have a white christmas and then it would just warm up somewhere. Down in the valley.

Really, I just want snow in the mountains.

I know I've said that a million times, but ready for snow in the mountains.

I feel bad for the ski resorts.

Like, I think they are panicking.

I'm sure.

I'm sure that they are just wondering what's happening. Where I grew up is setting the record for latest opening ever in history.
