Just about 20 minutes ago, I got a notification saying that there was an appointment available for me to book.

This was through the shopper's Drug Mart.

They have some kind of portal where you can, like,

enter your information and the ideas they notify you as soon as something becomes

available.

Hang on.

It's like the gold rush up here trying to get this

vaccine i'll send you the link uh to what i used i mean wait till the end of the story because it's got a

disappointing ending obviously which is why i'm bringing it up um so yeah i mean i signed up this

morning and then like i don't know in less than seven hours i got this notification saying there is a vaccine appointment available for you to book so like right

away I clicked on it like we're talking 10 second delay not even like just whatever time

it took my eyes to like scan the like you know 30 words of text or whatever and you know it gives

me some address it's like out in Mississauga which you know for know, for people who don't know, Toronto, like if you're downtown, I mean,

it's like, I mean, you know, it would be like two hours on public transit if you could take

public transit, which, you know, I mean, in theory you can, but you shouldn't if you can avoid

it. You know, maybe 40 minutes in a car 45 minutes without traffic

which like there would be traffic and to walk forget about it yeah i mean not not happening like you know

five hours something like that um like out near the airport basically is where this was um but i figured

whatever i'm just gonna i'm just gonna sign up i. I'll get a ride or something. And gone. I mean, just, you know, and it's gone. I mean, like, I would say generously, 25, 30 seconds between when I clicked on it when I tried to sign up. But I think it's a good sign anyway. These things are starting to be available. We're actually catching up to the United States now in Canada. There's been like a, as you say, a gold rush. And some people are actually

striking and rich. So hopefully soon that's one of us. I mean, both of us are in early 30s.
