I don't think anything true can be a threat to anything good.

So if your faith is shattered by the revelations of, say, cosmology,

then you need to re-examine and come back to a fuller understanding of the world because

the architects of the scientific revolution all of them to a man said something like God has

invested me with understanding so it would be an insult to him not to use it. He

wouldn't just trick me by implanting this calculating machine in my

brain and then expect me not to use it. What, so that I can prove my loyalty to him? Like that's

not how that works.

I'm well thanks it's the long game on Western civilization. I regret to inform you.

So, yeah. Well, I'm always all amused ourselves.

Sure, yeah, yeah. So I want to start with that just a little bit because you know it is a long

game what's the give me a problem statement for what's wrong with the West

sure well if for what's wrong with the West? Sure.

Well, if I had to summarize it or define it, I say we've lost our purpose, you know, Western

Civilization, as I understand it when I use that word I'm not just talking about a

random group of countries or a particular place on the map I'm talking about the

cultural heritage of Athens and Jerusalem.

So in Athens you get sort of the birth of the great pagan philosophies of Greece and Rome,

all that man can really know about his place in the universe using reason alone.
