What's good, everyone. This is Dr. Ney. Thank you for tuning in. Still on hiatus. It's a short hiatus.

We're going to be getting back to new episodes. So don't trip. We'll be back soon. But before we

0:11.8

jump into this throwback, I just want to give you a quick update on what's been going on on this end.

Last week, I got a chance to participate in a Juneteenth celebration for BD, which is a large,

0:22.2

you have to say multinational, like pharmaceutical, medical equipment company, one of the

0:28.9

largest out there. But they had a huge Juneteenth online virtual celebration. And they invited

0:35.6

me to come and speak about whatever I do and what I feel

0:39.4

comfortable talking about, which is doctors using podcasts or using social media to really

0:46.0

disrupt things, so to speak. And I spoke about the gatekeepers being gone. My talk was about

0:51.7

0:55.8

talk for people without using PowerPoint slides, which is a big deal for me. I've never done that

1:01.7

before. But the feedback that I got was super dope. A lot of people really enjoy that. And I think a lot of

1:10.5

times we spend so much time trying to figure out ways that we can put

1:14.2

all this information on slides.

1:16.6

And I mean, you tell me, I just know for a fact that I rarely remember what's on a slide.

1:22.1

I know it's compelling because you look at it and you see it.

1:25.3

But the ability for me to just look at someone and hear what they

1:29.1

have to say and absorb that, it's a lost art. We're not used to doing that. So they appreciated

1:34.4

that, that I was able to talk about the gatekeepers being gone in finance, in media, but not so

1:41.9

much in medicine. And I talked to them and they enjoyed it. They asked a lot of

1:46.0

different questions. We spoke about a lot of different things, made a lot of different connections.

1:50.2

So stay tuned. I'll let you know how that turns out. But I'm super, super excited about that.
