On this week's episode, I speak with Rob, who is a dedicated father.

He's diligent, organized, and would do anything in his power for his

children. Rob finds himself being a foreigner in a foreign land. Living abroad anywhere is going

to have its challenges. When the most terrible thing happens, your child becomes sick.

All the inconveniences, all the different things that you have to overcome on a normal day,

become huge barriers. The lengths that Rob goes to for his daughter are astounding. All the second

guessing, self-blame, and regrets that followed when

all of his efforts could not prevent what ended up happening to him. Normally on many of these

stories, I will edit them down to just get the story out.

Rob has many asides, many additional things that happened to him

while he was living abroad, and I felt they were absolutely necessary

to paint a picture of his environment, to paint a picture of what he had to go through. I want to personally thank

Rob for sharing his story with me. The time we spent talking was amazing, emotional, and I just

can't say enough good things. I hope Rob the best. A big shout out to all the guests that I've had on the show thus far.

It takes a lot of courage and bravery to share your story no matter what it's about.
