Welcome to the 23rd Alexysale podcast.

It's just me and Talal today.

Mostly I will be answering your questions that you've sent to me via WhatsApp and Instagram and so on and so forth.

Just I also give you a quick update on what I've been doing.

I think I've slightly let the podcasting and the bike riding slide.

The reason is that I have been working on my new series for Radio 4, which is called

Alexi Sales Strangers on a train.

And we did the pilot late last year, which you may have had went out late at night on

Radio 4.

And Radio 4 loved it so much that they commissioned a series.

So there's going to be seven of them.

And it's going to go out after the Archers on a Sunday night, which is quite a prime

slot.

So what it basically involves me doing is I catch a train.

Well, I usually catch a train for no reason.

And then I meet up with another train and I get on that train.

Like, for instance, I traveled from London to Manchester

and then from Manchester I caught a train that went from Manchester to Bournemouth and while I'm

on the train I just talk to people on the train really and talk about myself I I um recount things

that have happened to me in the various towns that we go through. In fact,

the Bournemouth, the Manchester's the Bournemouth episode is quite heavy on that. And it's
