Hey, welcome to the Juice Box Podcast. This is episode 23. Today I'm going to be speaking with the mother and father of a little boy who has type 1 diabetes for just six months.

Jack was diagnosed just six months ago and we're

going to talk to his mom Beth and his father tongue. Tell us all about the

diagnosis process, about what they learned in the hospital which for me I've

written a blog post about it I hope you can go to art and stay dot com to take a

look it's a short blog post but this family was not just told about diabetes technology in the

hospital they were also told about this community about the diabetes

online community they were specifically directed to a Facebook group that was of

great value to them and this is something that's incredibly touching to me because much of what I do online, you know, where myself and other bloggers who have been diabetes bloggers for years, if not a decade now have been trying to find a way to get

the camaraderie and information that exists online out into the real world and it sounds like it's happening, which is just

completely heartwarming to hear.

So that's it.
