Apple thing, but, um, but if I don't set the, the macOS audio input in system settings or

preferences or whatever it's called today to the

MixPree 3-2 then audio hijack the moment I hit record on the XLR interface the audio hijack is like

what it's not there it left it's gone and it's been annoying the crap out of me and I was

curious if you were seeing the same but never mind yeah I don't have don't have any of these problems at all. I mean, like, sometimes I get, like, audio glitches and stuff like that, but I don't, I think that's just Mac OS being Mac OS. Like, it's always going to freak out.

But the great thing about the USB pre 2 is you do nothing to it.

I have it running through this, like, USB power interface thing, which I can switch

on and off independently, because otherwise it will be on whenever the Mac is on, which

I don't want, because I worry about leaving it powered on all the time, right?

I can understand that.

I want that thing to not, because it gets warm, you know, like if it's been on for a few hours,

it gets warm, it's electronics.

But I want this thing to live its longest possible life because it was like $1,000

or something, which I will say definitely has amitized over the 11 years

that I've used it.
