So I opened our show document a couple of days ago to start putting in some thoughts for this episode.

And I saw a note which was like UK election. I was like, oh my God.

Our last episode to me feels like six months ago. But yeah, we had our election and it went the way I wanted it to.

And it was

actually pretty historic and we have like a landslide Labor government and here we go, you know?

Hooray! So I'm jumping way ahead. I will tell you a very brief story about how silly I am. And maybe

this is an American thing. Maybe it's a Casey thing. It's probably a Casey thing. But we went to London. We're going to talk

length about that later. But at some point, we were very close to 10 Downing Street, right? Not Avenue

Street, 10 Downing Street. And we thought, you know, let's go look at it because I know all we're

going to see is a door, but I want to see the damn door, the door that I see in love actually, and that I see in all these different movies and so on and so forth. And so the four of us go

traipsing up to Downing Street, which it turns out is like a little spit of a street. It's like

little itty-bitty. I thought, I assumed it went forever in a day. It's just, you four or five houses that are on that street.

Right, exactly.

So we go to walk up to 10 Downing and of course you can't get anywhere near it.

Why did I think that you would be able to get somewhere close stupid? It's like, you know, we can just walk up to the White House and knock on the door and see if the president's in.

I don't know what I was thinking, but we go, we turn a corner or something like that if memory serves.

You can kind of see the door, though, at least, right?

Well, ish.

It's not as presentable as the White House, but really, if you think about it, our analog for the White House is not Downing Street.

It's Parliament. Right? Well, I would argue is not Downing Street. It's Parliament.

Right?

Well, I would argue it's Buckingham.
