They open up about their unique parenting styles, the spiritual lifestyle hacks they’ve adopted from their adventurous daughter, and how it’s been watching her evolve into the creative entrepreneur and “cosmic” being (Byron’s actual words!) she is today.

Like so many last year, their lives were touched by Covid and they both had a difficult recovery journey. They discuss how they found the physical and mental strength to heal, and how the experience shifted their perspective on alternative medicine and chronic illness.

They’re now both seeing Jordan’s Chinese medicine doctor, eating plant-based, drinking celery juice, and watching Ayahuasca documentaries. ;) It just goes to show that we’re constantly evolving and becoming bigger and versions of ourselves in all stages of life. We hope this inspires others to have these deep conversations with their parents and that people are open to evolving at any age.

0:51.4	And then they see me and they're like, oh my god, I didn't even recognize you.
0:55.1	So that's my dad, Foria, and my mom is such a special person.
1:00.0	Everybody loves her online too.
1:02.4	She has an incredible fashion sense.
1:04.8	She's dirty martinis and skinny jeans on Instagram.
1:08.4	And she used to have a blog, but we need to get that back up and running.
1:12.0	So my parents were much requested guests to come back on the show.
1:16.4	And originally I wanted to do it because they both got really sick in the winter with coronavirus.
1:22.8	And it was a pretty intense time.
1:26.0	We were not able to see each other for months.
1:29.0	And I think a lot of you guys know, we live in the same building.
1:32.7	We see my parents all the time.
1:34.8	But they were at their house in Sacramento and we didn't see them for Thanksgiving or Christmas
