And the reason is that there is no one answer.

So if someone gives you like, this is exactly how much protein you should eat per day.

Like the US government says, well, men should eat 56 grams per day.

And women should eat 46 grams per day.

And they don't leave, like, what about, well, if you're a male and you're 140 pounds and

you're a male and you're 240 pounds and neither one is overweight necessarily or underweight,

how are you supposed to eat 56 grams each day for a male and 46 for a female?
