When you see a book, for instance, one of the Four Horsemen or something we write a book,

and they were to describe religion in a way that was much narrower,

or much more of a caricature of a religious believer or a religious position,

that you yourself had some firsthand experience with from your Mormon days

or when you were out on your mission or something and met people like that.

How is it that you're making sure that if they've mis-spoken in this area

that I'm making sure that they're not mis-speaking in another one?

And how do I make sure that the people who are helping to shade my view of religion

or particular faith or a general worldview that's open to the possibility of a spiritual realm or something?

I just don't think these sophisticated deologians are a real large number of the Christians that are out there.

I think the largest number are people that just give deference to Christianity.

Don't think about it that much.

Just assume Christ is the Son of God.

And then there's the really loud, obnoxious, fundamentalist group that worries me

because of their political sway.

And we had a born-again president get in and stop stem cell research,

and now we fall behind the rest of the world in that.

So I understand that there are sophisticated deologians out there.

I don't at all buy their mental gymnastics that they get.

I don't think they have any logical basis for their personal God.
