There's just really no way to sugarcoat this.

It's a tough loss for the Eagles three months before the season is supposed to start.

We find out on Monday Pro Bowl right guard Brandon Brooks is out for the season.

Yeah, not just Pro Bowl right guard, you know, maybe the best guard in Eagles history and a guy that's

had, you know, injuries in the last couple of years the other Achilles shoulder he's been through a lot and it's

a huge loss and you know new medical staff and new trainers and new doctors and everything and it's

you know certainly not blaming anybody because they haven't even probably met branding yet I guess they have because he's rehabbing but yeah, it's just a it's like here we go again

What could make this year worse and then it happens and you know we're sitting here in in June and the Eagles won't have their

Pro Bowl guard if for whatever part of the season ends up being played whether

it's some or all. Once again Brandon Brooks is hurt. It's brutal. I should mention this is

Eagle Eye and we're doing an emergency podcast because this news is so big. I mean, it is, it really is a devastating loss.

I think back to the 2018 season

when they lose that game, the divisional round game against the Saints.

A few months later,

Jason Kelsey says, yeah, we were a right guard away

from winning that game.

I mean, there aren't a lot.
