0:36.4 | But you know, like those mornings where you wake up and you're like, oh, I think I slept pretty well. But then you just, I don't know. I think I had a really busy week with some family in town. And also we got rid of our sleep number bed. So I really rely on the sleep number to tell me if I got good sleep, which is a horrible. It's kind of like, I realized how reliant I was on that number to be like, did I sleep well? And so now I don't know. That's so funny. Why did you get rid of it? It was just old. Oh, did you get a new one? No, we didn't get a new. So we got a mattress. I can't remember the name of it. It's one of the roll up ones that you can get at Costco. Because we got them for, we got them for our guest rooms and they're really, really comfortable. And so Scott's like, look, the sleep number beds are really expensive. The way that, this is an insight into our life. Scott is constantly thinking that the bed is sinking. Like he's like, my side is sinking, I swear. Even after like a year or two, he's like, we need a new mattress. So after we got the sleep number bed, I'm like, we spent so much money on this mattress. Like you need to kind of like weight it out. And I think it's all in his head. He's like, no, I swear, my side is sinking. And he'll, like, sit there and show me. So finally, nine years later, this thing has lasted as forever, he's like, I'm going to get a new mattress. I'm like, okay, fine. This is totally fine. So he's like, I'm not going to get a new sleep number. We're just going to get the Costco ones because we can replace it like every three to five years and it's way cheaper than just buying one that lasts for 10 years that's really expensive. |
1:45.9 | And it's way cheaper than just buying one that |
2:02.3 | lasts for 10 years. That's really expensive. And it's just as comfortable. It's a really comfortable |
2:06.7 | mattress. And so we switched that out. He's happy. I'm happy. I'm not super picky about mattresses. |
2:13.8 | Like I don't, I don't lay there and get like all, I don't know, I don't have a very, |
2:34.3 | unless it's like too soft. I can't do like really, really soft beds because I just, yeah. So, but to make up for the sleep number loss, I'm going to get an aura ring. This is my test ring that I have. I'm wearing a test ring right now because they want you to like test the size. They send you this like little sizing kit so you can test all the sizes. |
2:37.8 | But I'm like, okay, my company gets a discount on aura rings because they have like a partnership with them. |
2:43.3 | Yeah, that makes sense. |
2:44.1 | Because you can use, you can use headspace with the or ring and do all this meditation stuff. |
2:48.7 | So I was like, okay, fine. |
2:50.5 | I've been considering an aura ring. This is not sponsored for a long time. But I was like, oh, it's kind of like the whoop bands. Like, do you really need it if you have an Apple Watch? But the one thing I really do like to track is my sleep. I really do. I've also heard good things with the ORA Rings because as opposed to like a Fitbit or an Apple Watch, you can't see the things in real time so it becomes less of like a fixation. And you can like track the app or whatever, but you're not like looking down at your watch constantly to see what your stats are. Yeah. I've heard that as a pro. Yeah. That's a couple people because I talked to a couple people at work. Because I was like, what do you like about it? And just like really wanting to do my due diligence before I buy |
3:28.2 | something that I'm like not going to use. And they said the same thing, that they don't feel like |
3:32.5 | the stats are like in their face that they're getting all hung up on that. So I'm excited to try it. |
3:37.7 | I think it'll be good data and I'm also very interested. |
