Well, I would say on the banks of Lock Lohman, but not quite.

Currently, my position commands better views of the A82 than Lock Lohman.

The thing with big natural points of interest is actually quite hard to get at them, because

there's a caravan park, private property. There's a big sort of visitor centre, which is

just dogs and kids and people going in and out of the toilets, all fine, all part of what

is essentially a services. You don't really feel like you're experiencing Lock Lohman,

but it's a very rich, full ataurus, who's just pulled up on a Kia Sportage to expect the

ultimate communion with nature. I'm just walking as far away from that bit as I can. I can

see the lock through the trees. I can also see the A82, which is a dual carriageway,

a single carriageway, actually, A Road, connecting Glasgow with the west of Scotland. Every so often,

I mean, there's a campsite right here. Why would you want a camp next to that noise?

It's pretty stunning. Big hills, green trees, bird song, you know, lorries, hatchbacks,

SUVs, smart vehicles, executive saloons, and the odd minibus, real contrast in tones. Can I get down? No, that's your break rank. You know, there was early 50.

Maybe nearly 50. You're saying there was nearly 40. I am not really depressed about it. What about that?

about it. What about that? Some people are paddling on the lake. That's what I should have

done. Should have gone swimming in the sea, but I was too anxious about sort of the logistics

of that. Also, there's no one to watch your stuff when you're on your own. Not that anyone

would nick my stuff, but I don't think it would be make particularly peaceful swim to leave

your iPhone on a in a bra.
