The cocktail of the week this week. I just thought we should do the old-fashioned.

We've never done an old-fashioned. What? I know. It's so easy. You put a sugar cube in a glass.

You put a couple dashes of angastura bitters on it. Just shake it on there a couple times.

Two ounces of bourbon or rye or whatever whiskey you want. Or if you're Wisconsin, you could do

brand-ealed-fashioned. Use brandy instead. That's it. You put in like an orange, maybe cherry, kind of

smush it up a bit. Done. Old-fashioned. That's it. It's a great drink to order. It's a great

drink. It's easy to make. It's sweet. It's boozy. One year in Christmas, you know, I started making

cocktails and my brother apparently jokingly was like, make me an old-fashioned. I was like, okay.

I mean, it's just whiskey. What was he, seven? I mean, no. He's only two years younger than me.

I didn't even start drinking until I was like almost 30. I know. You're trying to catch up,

but do it responsibly. No, no, no. But anyway, he's like, can't make me an old-fashioned,

which I made him. And then it sort of came out that he was joking about it. Didn't like it.

He took the first sip and he was like, oh jeez. And I was like, it's just whiskey. That's all it

is, really. A little bit of sugar in it. Anyway, it's a good drink. It's giving me slight flashbacks,

which I think is a memory, but it might be a fake memory of me getting the polio shot with

a sugar cube. You got a polio? Tell, say more about this. I think in school and Germany,

when we were little, we got like a polio shot or a polio vaccine in the 60s, 60s, 70s would have

been school. Maybe it was Australia. Maybe it was, I don't know, I was in Australia. What,
