My name is Dan Weatherspoon and I'm very pleased today to interview two interesting guests

with me in or by Skype as we're recording this.

Our is Randall Snyder, Randy Snyder, we'll call him and that's what he always goes by.

He's in West Phoenix, Arizona, and we're he's in orthodontist.

And Tyson Jacobson, who lives in Orange County, and Tyson runs a construction company

that mostly deals with apartment complexes or multi-family dwellings

or some official word like that.

Both of them should be fairly recognizable to several or to some of our listeners

who pay attention to the Mormon Stories podcast blog or some of the other open forums,

open Mormon forums and things like that.

So we're grateful to have them and the purpose of our getting these two guys on here

is to have a robust discussion of not only their personal faith journeys,

but the direction that both their journeys went, which was into a instead of like a shifting

so much of their religious worldviews or or move to another religious tradition

or to a more liberal or progressive position within Mormon as something.

Both Randy and Tyson journeyed more into the secular camp.

They were both comfortable calling themselves atheists,

secular humanists applied to some degree, scientific naturalism.

We'll kind of let them self-identify as they go, but it's basically a journey from Mormonism
