January is a month of garden inspiration. Wouldn't you agree? I love dreaming about new possibilities in my

0:10.5

garden this month. One area, though, that I've expanded each year is growing my own spices and herbs.

0:18.2

In vegetable gardening, we start with growing what we eat, right? And that's not a bad

0:23.8

place to start for growing your own spices and herbs either. But not all of those jars in your

0:30.9

spice cabinet contain items that are easily grown. So if you're wanting to do more in growing

0:37.3

your own herbs and spices in the jars

0:39.4

in your spice cabinet, where should you start? Well, today I'm going to share with you what I believe

0:44.9

are the best and easiest spices and herbs to grow yourself even if you're a beginner. One thing I'm

0:52.6

going to be doing as I talk to you about these top 10 herbs and

0:56.1

spices that I think that you can grow is I will be sharing with you a little bit about my

1:01.3

recommendations on whether you should sew them as seeds, either inside or directly in your garden,

1:08.3

or whether you should purchase them as transplants because herbs are a little

1:12.2

bit different in that regard. And that's a question that you need to make sure that you know the

1:16.9

answer to for all of your plants in your garden, not just the herbs and spices. And so I wanted to

1:22.5

remind you that through January 17th, which is only a few more days, you can get my mini course before you sew

1:30.4

for free with the code free 22. This is something that I'm offering just for a short period of time.

1:36.7

It's normally a $19 course, but you can get it for free during this amount of time here until

1:41.4

January 17th. And it'll walk you through how you can decide which

1:45.9

plants you're going to grow from seed which ones are best from transplant but we're also going to be

1:50.7

talking about those today in the episode about herbs and spices but make sure before you turn this off

1:56.3

today that if you haven't gone through before you sew, make sure that you grab that for free with

2:02.8

the coupon code free 22, which is available through January 17th. And if you're listening to this
