Summary

Hello and welcome to episode 222 of The Mindful Kind podcast.

In this episode, I answered questions from my listeners about how to share mindfulness strategies with others and how to support loved ones through difficult times.

Here are the ideas I cover:

  • Remember that other people cope with challenges in different ways. Not only is it important to let them make their own decisions, but it's also important to look after yourself more if you're feeling helpless.
  • It's often better to lead by example and to let people reach out to you for help and advice when they're ready.
  • There are three ways you can share advice when someone asks you for help: give them valuable resources, tell them about your honest experiences, and create a fun accountability system.

especially as a healthcare professional. And in this episode, I'll be talking about how to support

great questions from Paul, Riannon and Donna. Paul wanted to know more about communicating

Riannan also said she's doing well at the moment, but a lot of her loved ones are struggling with

1:34.3

anxiety and she'd like to hear some tips on how to help them. And Donna was also interested in learning

more about how to share mindfulness with others, including kids. Thank you so

difficult time. There are a couple of things that I'd really like to touch on. First of all,

it can be important to remember that not everyone is necessarily going to cope with

challenges in the same ways. For me, I'm stepping up my self-care activities like yoga and

meditation and mindfulness and I'm trying to stay consistent with work so I can be helpful for
