Last year, I could only just now finally talk about this because it was so traumatic.

There was an outbreak of Empatigo in our neighborhood, possibly from a water slide that

all the kids in the neighborhood played on.

And if you don't know, Empatigo is a type of staff infection on the skit and it was bad.

There were 30 kids with skit infections all at once.

It was pitiful to witness and they kept transferring it back and forth because it's highly contagious

and can live on surfaces for weeks or months.

So all of us were doing an extreme amount of laundry and cleaning and trying to stay

on top of it.

And all of my neighbors were having to take their kids to urgent care or to local doctors

and they were getting all kinds of opinions on the best type of treatment, ranging from

multiple courses of oral antibiotics to use of topical antibiotic creams or both.

Since I have not found a good doctor where we moved to yet, I was so grateful to have

my study, MD doctor, literally in my pocket on my phone.
