Welcome to Soul and Witt. I'm Courtney. And I'm Bailey. We are the mother-daughter duo here to make you laugh, grow, and feel more connected to your favorite things.

Hey everyone, it's Courtney, and it's time for another pop-up episode of Soul and Witt.

0:33.1

This is also our first solo episode.

Bailey isn't recording with me today and I'm here on my own to help you reject the New Year, New You messages out there and to have a gentle January.

0:54.7

I have to tell you, I am feeling a little bit of pressure to be both soul and wit, which might be impossible.

1:00.0

I think it's the dynamic between Bailey and I that make us soul and wit.

1:07.9

So I'm going to do my best, and I hope you'll have patience with me as we go through today's episode.

1:09.1

I'm also feeling a lot of gratitude for all of the work that Bailey

1:30.3

Thank you.

1:31.2

I love you.

1:32.7

1:59.0

great reading year last year, and I was just kind of scrolling through

2:04.3

Storygraph, which is the app I use to track the books I'm reading and the books that I want to

2:10.5

read. Oh my gosh, it's such a good app. And I was just noticing, like, how many standouts there were.

2:18.7

Like, it would be really challenging for me to pick a favorite book of last year.

2:23.8

But I will share that the last book I read, I'm actually still reading as of this recording,

2:30.9

but I think I'll be finished by the end of the year, is called the

2:35.1

Invisible Life of Addie LaRue.
