I loved how much he used verbs and how well you stage things as an unfolding story.

I had a favorite opening to one of your chapters.

I remember it was chapter 8 and it is once upon a time back in the denobian period,

there was a pair of bones inside an armored fish in the back of the head,

one on each side, the fish paid them no mind, the fish was after all,

busy swishing sand into the dead-eyed stair of a giant sea scorpion that was chasing it.

I love it. Like, like, I opened things like that. I'm like, yeah, science, baby.
