0:43.2	Well one mistake parents and young families often make is that they assume their children
0:46.8	are somehow genetically endowed with morality.
0:50.1	And while humans may have evolved to develop some moral instincts to preserve their species,
0:55.0	most of our beliefs about right and wrong are shaped by our family and societal cultures.
0:59.6	A child's belief about what's acceptable and the values they hold as they grow into
1:03.7	adults are almost wholly dependent upon their family life.
1:07.3	The 10 commandments from the Bible are rules on morality and they're good for society,
1:12.3	but you have the opportunity to level up as a family.
1:15.6	The basics like do not steal for example, you'll teach and hopefully it's a quick lesson.
1:21.0	That's not one you hopefully need as a family.
