Who is, gosh, well, why don't you say what you do and what your interests are rather than me mangle

Sure.

So I am the executive director of Students Recovery, which is an online, the first online virtual

platform created specifically for post-secondary students in our speaking recovery.

So this is exactly why I wanted to get you on the show.

And our mutual friend, Olivia, put us in contact and said, you need to speak to this woman.

She does some really good stuff.

And I'm very interested in what's going on in higher education around recovery and that

kind of stuff.

Number one, because I have kids who are eventually going to get there in a few years. And my husband has worked in academia for the last 20

years or so. So we, in the last few years, have lived near campuses and where my husband's worked

and seen a lot of this. And I remember from my own university days, a hard drinking culture

was very much part of the university culture. But it was also like for me, for someone like

me who was in active alcoholism by the time I got to university at, how old was I? I was 22,

I think. I went a bit later. The drinking and the parting was the main event.
