And on this week's episode, I have a long-form conversation with someone named Jenna.

She's the Pilates unicorn on Instagram. We connected over the

internet. I got into Pilates a couple years ago. My best friend in Michigan became a Pilates

teacher. And I was teaching yoga at the time and yoga is really the only type of exercise I'd

ever done and liked. But I talked about

this in the last episode where I had a Pilates teacher on, which was the only other time I've

had a Pilates teacher on with Anula, who owns a studio in my neighborhood here in the East Village

that I love called Sixth Street Pilates and we'll link to that one in the show

notes. But anyway, I found Pilates because I'm hypermobile so I have, I need more strengthening.

And Pilates was something that my best friend when she started teaching, I got into as well and

really enjoyed. Anyway, I connected with Jenna through our friend Anula, and we had this conversation

a couple months ago when she was in New York. She lives in Chicago. She's owned multiple Pilates

studios. She's transitioned from that business to now hosting a podcast herself, and it's called

Pilates Unfiltered. I'll link to it in the show notes. And we talk in

this conversation about dance, about business, about transitions, about the fitness industry and
