Hello, my name is Daniel O'Brien and I'm so happy to be here.

This is my second time on Frame Rate, the first time we talked about groundhog day and

now we're talking about a movie that I'm very excited to talk about.

Yes.

I'm going to be, I'll be the first one to say that I am unapologetic in my fanboydom

toward the show Deadwood and today we're covering the 2019 written by David Milch, directed

by Daniel Minahann, Deadwood the movie.

Yeah, quick question, Daniel, have you seen the Deadwood movie?

I have seen the Deadwood movie multiple times.

Well, deep sea fishing, I take it, but, yeah, what are you, you chose it of Deadwood

as a franchise, is the two of you told me to watch it, like this was, I guess like nine

or ten years ago where you were telling me to check out this three season run HBO show

and at the time I watched it by going to Blockbuster Video and getting the DVDs of the show

and watching them alone in my apartment and you guys were right, you guys said you're

going to like this, it's very well written, it's Shakespearean in terms of the monologues

the characters get to do and I, you, you wisely knew that I like shows where people
